Approximately 30% of kitchen faucets in the United States are made by Delta, so let's start there.
- disable hot and cold shut off valves under the sink
- open the faucet to make sure the valves work
- use of Allen or hex head wrench to loosen the grip w / Set Screw [RP2393 the next photo] & pull out handle
- Using SLIP joint pliers, turn Cap w / Adjusting Ring [RP50] counterclockwise
- eliminate Cam & Packing (RP61) and Ball Assembly (RP70), pay attention to the slot on the right side of the ball, need to align the new ball Similarly
- search the body of the tap and find seats and springs (RP4993) using the tool hook Allen or screwdriver. start both the washers and springs. pay attention to the position of the springs and the way the rest washers on them
- grab the peak (RP5654) w / both hands and pull out of the tap body to expose two O-rings (RP25)
- using a tool Allen or screwdriver to remove the two O-rings. him out of the slots. install the new O-rings in the same grooves and plumbers grease or petroleum jelly applied to the surface of the Rings
- to peak again in the body of the faucet, turn left and right control for ease of operation. using a screwdriver or an Allen tool, put the spring / washer combo along w / your finger and lower in the body of the faucet
- Install Ball Assembly (RP70) in the body of the faucet. Align the slot on the right side of the ball
- put the black and white packaging CAM at the top of the ball. Align the slot on the left side of the faucet body. Teflon paste applied to the threads, then install Cap. hand tighten the needles clock and the use of slip joint pliers to tighten 1 / 4 turn past finger
- install the handle. tighten screws allen set w / allen wrench
- remove Aerator (RP330) peak late, then turn shutoff valves below the sink and check for leaks. Run water through the faucet for 30 seconds, reinstall Aerator
