Do I need to use rebar in the pouring of a pad for a generator?
I have to pour a pad for a generator 45W, chilled water. quite heavy. I recommend using rebar or chicken wire or something in nature? Also, how thick do you think the platform should be 6 ".... 12 "... 18 "I've never done any kind of residential concrete, and this work is not only large enough to justify the ways poly and vibrators and the like, or is it?
Always use some kind of renforcement when studying concrete to prevent cracking. heavy gauge wire fences, as it should do the trick. 6 "should be plenty thick. Ensure that the base is rock solid foundation and beaten. Building form and voila!
