Lexus RX 300 SUV .... and the Dodge Ram 1500 crew cab .... are they worth the $$$$??
based on the following information, do you think this is a very good - good - just buy. is a 1999 Lexus RX 300 SUV 4WD with 159,000 miles for $ 10,000.00. has a sunroof, leather things in a big way what I say, clean inside and out, good set of tires front and side airbags, fully loaded and all that good stuff and a good paint job. Lexus achieved +++++ 159,000 miles for? also, no 22 mpg highway and 19 mpg city sound good? or must be better? and the Dodge - a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD Crew Cab 4-door. is 15,000.00 with 79,000 miles. looks like new with box and all the extra tools and aluminum trailer package in the back. 15,000.00 do you think is a good business based on the information? Any additional information would help both!
LEXUS is a light truck "vehicle Dodge PU is strongest here. And it has greater flexibility too. PICKUPS really can get better gas mileage full size or mid-sized SUV. Because it is half the body weight 90% of driving time or without light carries a load on it. The truck would be the SMARTER BUY LEXUS on the mileage and year. When you the Lexus is a Japanese vehicle. When it comes to American Pick Ups take as much time or more imports. The Lexus has 159.000 miles on it. So I think that last about 200,000 miles so your willing to give up $ 10K for a vehicle that may need major service in about 42,000 miles. YEA this is a rip off $ 10K can get you in Lexus latest year with less miles if that what you want. The 2nd Dodge has less miles and is a new vehicle, but to be sure to check the service records or which has been well maintenance. That applies both to vehicles. Things like the water pump, brakes, alternator, battery, belts, hoses, vacuum lines, optimizations, etc. ...... I looked at the Lexus and think about what I'm used to, as most work and play style or around the city and get the Oohs from friends, while that with a little bending capacity. The truck will be easier to resell in the Lexus if necessary. I find it harder to sell a mileage import are in high demand due to gas prices and keeps tuneups but it seems that when you pull the gas station people are not going to lower the price in half just because your driving an import V6 or even a 4cylinder. Everyone pays the same.
